POSITIVE OPTICS ยท CUSTOM MANUFACTURING
Optical prisms manufactured to defined geometry, surface and coating requirements. Share your drawing and intended beam path for an application focused review.
Request a Prism Quote
Prism selection depends on how light enters, travels through and leaves the component. A useful manufacturing drawing identifies the optical surfaces, angles, dimensions, clear apertures and mounting references. Include a beam path sketch when the function is not obvious from the mechanical drawing.
The items below are information to supply for technical review. Manufacturing limits and acceptance criteria are confirmed in your quotation.
Prism type, face dimensions, angles, edge details and mechanical reference surfaces.
Entry and exit faces, required beam deviation, operating wavelength and clear apertures.
Required optical material or grade and any operating temperature or environmental conditions.
Surface quality, flatness, angle tolerances and coated or uncoated face identification.
Drawing revision, quantity, inspection documentation and requested delivery date.
Identify each surface requiring anti-reflection, reflective or other specified coating. Include wavelength range, angle of incidence and polarization for the relevant faces. Geometry, material choice and coating requirements are reviewed together before manufacturing is confirmed.
Positive Optics offers production, coating and customization. Standard lead time is within four weeks; the schedule for your component, coating and quantity is confirmed in the quotation.
See Our Custom Optics ProcessYes. Send a dimensioned drawing with angle tolerances, surface requirements and clear apertures. Include the optical path where useful.
Specify the requirement for each numbered face. Coating feasibility and masking requirements are reviewed for your geometry.
Provide a beam path sketch, wavelength, aperture and space constraints. The missing design specifications should be clarified before a manufacturing quote is finalized.
Include all drawing requirements and identify the critical angles, optical surfaces and mounting datums. This helps align the quotation with your assembly.
Email info@positiveoptic.com with your drawing, quantity and target delivery date. If some specifications are undecided, identify them so we can discuss the next technical steps.
