POSITIVE OPTICS · CUSTOM MANUFACTURING
Spherical lenses and optical domes manufactured to your project requirements. Define the geometry, optical function and coating with Positive Optics.
Request a Lens Quote
A lens enquiry starts with the optical function and a defined geometry. Share the focal length or radii, diameter, center thickness and operating wavelength. For optical domes, include the inner and outer radii, wall thickness, opening and mounting interface. We review the drawing and manufacturing requirements before confirming a quotation.
The items below are information to supply for technical review. Manufacturing limits and acceptance criteria are confirmed in your quotation.
Lens type, diameter, radii of curvature, center and edge thickness; dome inner and outer radii.
Focal length, design wavelength, clear aperture and transmitted wavefront requirements.
Required optical material or grade, or your operating wavelength and environment if undecided.
Surface quality, figure, centration, coated surfaces, wavelength range and angle of incidence.
Drawing revision, prototype and production quantities, inspection documents and requested delivery date.
Coating requirements should be defined alongside lens geometry. Include wavelength range, transmission or reflection targets, angle of incidence and environmental conditions. Specify whether one or both surfaces require coating. Feasibility and acceptance criteria are agreed for the project.
Positive Optics offers production, coating and customization. Standard lead time is within four weeks; the schedule for your component, coating and quantity is confirmed in the quotation.
See Our Custom Optics ProcessYes. Optical domes are part of our lens manufacturing scope. Send inner and outer radii, wall thickness, opening geometry and coating requirements for review.
Yes. Send the dimensioned drawing and its revision, optical specifications, quantity and delivery target. Tell us which tolerances are critical to your assembly.
Describe the wavelength, optical function, mounting conditions and operating environment. We can discuss the open requirements before quoting.
Our standard lead time is within four weeks. The exact schedule depends on the confirmed component, quantity and coating requirements.
Email info@positiveoptic.com with your drawing, quantity and target delivery date. If some specifications are undecided, identify them so we can discuss the next technical steps.
