POSITIVE OPTICS ยท CUSTOM MANUFACTURING
Define the spectral response your system needs. Share your passband, blocking requirements, operating angle and dimensions for a custom optical filter review.
Request a Filter Quote
An optical filter enquiry needs more than a wavelength label. Define the band you want to transmit or reflect, the unwanted wavelength range and the measurement conditions. Positive Optics reviews filter manufacturing and coating requirements against your drawing and target spectral response.
The items below are information to supply for technical review. Manufacturing limits and acceptance criteria are confirmed in your quotation.
Center wavelength or band edges, bandwidth, transmission target and allowed spectral variation.
Wavelength intervals to suppress and your required blocking or optical density target.
Angle of incidence, angular cone, polarization, temperature and any laser exposure requirements.
Shape, outer dimensions, thickness, clear aperture, substrate preference and surface requirements.
Target spectral curve, acceptance conditions, quantity and requested delivery date.
Share the required spectral curve or transmission and reflection limits, with the operating angle and polarization. These conditions are part of the coating review. Do not assume performance at a different angle or in a different wavelength band; agreed targets and measurement conditions should be recorded in the quotation.
Positive Optics offers production, coating and customization. Standard lead time is within four weeks; the schedule for your component, coating and quantity is confirmed in the quotation.
See Our Custom Optics ProcessYes. A target curve with wavelength units, transmission limits, blocking range and operating angle is useful for technical review.
Describe the required spectral behavior and physical dimensions. We will review manufacturing and coating feasibility before confirming the filter specification.
The operating angle is part of the filter specification, particularly for interference coatings. Include the actual angle and any angular spread in your system.
Filter performance is project specific. Request the agreed spectral targets and inspection information for your quotation.
Email info@positiveoptic.com with your drawing, quantity and target delivery date. If some specifications are undecided, identify them so we can discuss the next technical steps.
